Chapter 4: Shock And Awe

Warning: Long.

To my utter shock and awe, the game saved itself on crash (??? Dubble-yew Tee Eff??!?!?!), so we start up from where we left off last time...
Really, I had to pause the game and just stare for a while I was so shocked.

Ursula Lemuel (The hostess of the party), tells Savannah she's been 'misbehaving' and should leave. I assume Suzuki got the same message, as he walks out not far behind. Savannah takes the time to grin at the wing-man on her way out.

At 3.30am, I get all giggly and happy. Wahooo! This... thing... will go on!

Must be the hormones, she washes the dishes before heading to work.

While at work, she rolls a wish to talk to Gavin (who is the fat vampire she went on a failed date with, and also a coworker). I look through her relationships again and discover she's enemies with Luna Wahine. I'm sure we've never met her... :|
Maybe she's related to someone she slept with? She's a teen.

The hormones kick in again after work, and she looks happy about cleaning the thousand papers outside.

Another co-worker calls, Angarika Goyave, and asks if we could hang out. I accept and let Savannah continue on her cleaning spree while we wait.

Then the time comes, and I wait axiously to see if I'll have to edit her maternity wear. These things always take ages to load, so I pause the game and wander around the house for a bit.

I get back and unpause. Savannah isn't breathing. If it wasn't for the leaves moving in the breeze, and the fact her phone starts ringing I'd think it had crashed again.

I get bored and take a pic or two of the skyline.

I unpause again, and wait as the stars rise and twinkle above.
It's lucky Angarika never bothered to show...

Suddenly, Savannah hops to life! She's hungry. Her tummy feels funny... Like it's growing...

Oh! It grew!
I then go into options and enable memories, before disabling them again. For some reason I have to do that every time I go into this save, but I forgot this time.

"Hey, rock, I wanna hold your hand." Flirty trait in action...

So, I check out her everyday maternity...

"Heh. Can we change it?"
Savannah looks a bit bewildered... Yes, love, we can change it.

Much more your style. Tops a bit faded, but it's only for two days.

She dreams about babies :)

I was happy to see that her sleepwear was maternity enabled. Made my life easier.

The paperboy does this every day. Why does he want to come inside anyway? :|

We get a notification about a simfest starting at Micks. I've never attended one of these things before, and since all her friends are at work, I decide we can go check it out.

When we arrive nobody is there, so she sings kareoke for a bit.

There's a singer up first. I forget his stage name, but his real name is Thiam Moya.
He is amazing. No, really. I'm surprised by how good this is, and vow that the next heir of this... 'wishacy'... will be a performer.

Savannah seems equally impressed. She keeps swooning too.

Thiam... Well, what do you think? I think he has potential. He has an amazing voice, too, and I embarrassingly found myself clapping at the end of his set (no, really...).

Savannah wastes no time in approaching him. I'm liking her thought bubble.

For some reason, he decides she's being impolite. She had a 'saw awful performance' moodlet, too. Really? I enjoyed it, and everyone else was dancing and cheering and clapping!
Anyway, so she apologises (who knows what for?)

One thing leads to another...
(Paahahahaa! I love this pic soooo much)
LTW: 3/5

Savannah gets hungry, so she goes to the bar, you know how the vodka diet is good for pregnancy...
While she's doing that, I watch the next performer. He's bendy...

He sets himself on fire, and I laugh to much to watch anymore.

The proprietor starts giving Savannah disapproving looks around her third cup of juice, so I send her to the bistro.

It cost SEVENTY-FIVE SIMOLEONS to eat there, and she comes out with a burger?! Better be damn good, girl!

I'm bored of her same 4 wishes, so I fulfil the 'chat with Gavin' over the phone. She tells him she's having Suzuki's baby. She should probably tell Suzuki at some point...

We immediately replace that wish with one to skinny-dip, so I send her to the pool.
Upon arrival, I remember pregnant sims can't skinny dip for some reason, and so she swims a few lengths instead.

Bump pic. She still has 12 hours left at this point. I swear my sims get bigger each pregnancy :|

The next day, Suzuki sends a gift. It's awful and garish and I hate it, but I put it up anyway.

Savannah gets really into her cleaning...

Before going into labour while attempting to finish clearing the newspapers.
She actually still looks attractive like that! I'm impressed!

Baby girl, Sahara, is the first baby that has had the privilege of feet in my game. As you can see, there is minor floating, but I'll take floating babies over burritos any day. Plus, I never play from this angle.
Her traits are Loves The Outdoors and Excitable.

Suzuki appeared from nowhere at the hospital. Really. He never went in, I was looking out for him, but he came out and caught the cab home with us.

I moved her dresser to her family inventory. There was no room for a crib, but we'll move soon. I'll probably cheat ;)

Savannah stares at Sahara like this for a while. I think she's in shock. She thought this was a real wishacy, but she never wished for a baby...

She did, however, wish to marry someone shortly after this. I got rid of the pillow-fighting wish as the interaction just cancels itself anyway, and locked this one in. I'll let her fulfill it soon. Probably after that LTW is complete, though...

Chapter 3: All Aflutter

As soon as I load my game up, I get a popup in the corner from Suzuki. He says he's leaving, then adds:
"You and me, sitting in a tree... Oh gosh, did I say that out loud? I mean... What a fun date! Don't mind me..."
I'd never seen that before. I loled. Then I loled again when another came up immediately after that I also hadn't seen:
"Your heart's all aflutter, oh my! You never thought you'd use aflutter in a sentance, and yet... Who knew dates could go so incredibly well?"
I take these as good signs, but Savannah doesn't seem to care as she eats dinner in the squalor. The counter and cooker are filthy too. Just waiting for that sink to join in...

She immediately rolls wishes to 'go on a first date with someone' and 'get a tattoo'. Unfortunately, all four of her slots are full. Not that she needs any more tattoos, and I'm kinda hoping she gets together with Suzuki...

The next day is leisure day. Savannah doesn't know what leisure is, and gets up at 5am. She showers, and then realises how awful the kitchen is, so she sorts it out. Good girl.

(Oh! Her traits are: flirty, rebellious, loves the outdoors, great kisser and nurturing. I think I must have randomised them, because that's an awful list of traits for any kind of legacy...)

She's so pretty...
Anyway, yeah, she gets a phonecall from Tonya Tamarind. I check her relationships, and she has about five friends! Three from work (including Tonya), that vampire (the fat guy from the first chapter), and of course, Suzuki, who is her best friend.
Tonya just wanted to chat.

As it's leisure day, and she has a locked wish to go on a group outing, she invites Suzuki to the festival.

She gets there before him, and looks a little lost (that's never happened to me before :| Is that a glitch?)

While I'm waiting for Suzuki to show, I have a look around the festival lot. I wonder at EA's logic here, and decide it must be a fake bamboo. Maybe a skating stunt pole disguised to look like bamboo...?

Suzuki shows. I'd begun to wonder whether he would...
They talk. Who knows what about? I didn't catch their speech bubbles, but I hope it was about their great date.

I direct them to go skate together. Savannah walks off the lot and round the outside (because ST has the best routing.) before getting to the skating rink. By this point, Suzuki decides he has work soon, and has to go.
Hang on... Nobody works leisure day! I'll get him back for avoiding me... (He's a toddler sports coach...)
Anyway, so Savannah skates alone. She clearly really enjoys it.

She's hungry, so I click her moodlet and she decides to join the eating contest- wait...
Yep, that's right. Teenage Helen Hoffman has got herself pregnant. (I didn't know EA's story progression allowed that...)
Apparently, she couldn't find any of the teen-maternity appropriate bottoms for that outfit. I've had them for years. I decide I like her like that, and leave her to it. Floating torso's are always good for drama.
I also discover she's surprisingly pretty for an EA premade. Not drop-dead gorgeous, but I wouldn't mind her genetics in my family. Maybe Savannah will get pregnant and they can get their kids together?

At the last second, Savannah suddenly decides she doesn't fancy hot dogs. Maybe she didn't hear that the dying of starvation glitch was fixed a few patches ago?

She then does some odd variation of 'pat your head and rub your stomach'... Or maybe she was complaining about starving?

She heads to a concession stand... Wait... Something isn't right...

*PING!*
As if by magic, the shopkeeper appeared. (I'm not expecting anyone to get that reference. Here. Good old British childrens TV, from back in the day.)
This shopkeeper is also quite attractive. ST peeps are hotties.

She gets some chilli-cheese fries.
While she's eating, she gets a party invite, to... Well, I dunno. That's about the only name I didn't make a note of. Sorry. Anyway, so she attends.

That's the host. The brunette. I could swear there was either an M or an H in her name. And O was the second letter... I think.
The blonde woman... Yeah, I wondered what she was doing too. Turns out there's a pool ladder there that hasn't rendered by this point.

Suzuki's here. I don't see any toddlers...
Apparently Savannah got a tan. She looks... weird.
Anyway, so I decide Suzuki can make it up to me by attempting to make babies.

This blonde guy looks like Suzuki's wingman. He gives him a "You go, dude!" Look as he heads out to the girls at the pool. (This is when I realise this is the first pool party thrown by an inactive where they actually have a pool!)

Just as Savannah and Suzuki make it to bed, the game crashes.
I don't know when I last saved, probably at the summer festival lot, so I won't have lost much, but this explains the shortness and any repeats/inconsistancies next chapter. I'm writing a chapter for each play session.
