Chapter 6: Queen of Halloween

Contains real-life images of sim-puke

We rejoin Savannah having her first meal in her new house. I really like this house. It's decorated all simple, and relaxes my eyes after playing my Mattell legacy, where all the decoration is over-the-top and varying degrees of pink...

Sav rolls a wish to potty train Sahara, so we get to that.

I take a thousand pics, because I think the animations are cute/funny. This is the one I picked for final cut.
"Puuuuuuushhhhhhh!" :p

And here's what she did immediately after.
"MMMOOOOOMMMMMIIIIEEEEE!!!! Potty stole my poopie!!"

She's actually pretty cute. I thought she was ugly before, but maybe she has a shot at being heir (not that there are any other options... yet...)

Anyway, Savannah wants to meet someone new, so we head across the street to the park. I'm not calling a babysitter, and Sav still has a wish to teach 'Ara to walk, so we work on finishing that while we're lonely in the park. I'm kinda surprised that, even though it's only 5C (41F), they don't bother with outerwear...

That takes next to no time (seriously, like, 1 sim-hour for more than half :| ), and before I know it, Daddy Suzuki has appeared. I have Sahara sit next to him. I wish toddlers could beg for attention like they could in sims 2...
Sooks doesn't care one iota, and reads away.

Meanwhile. "Oh em eff gee. A celebrity" *pants hysterically*

After getting Kai Kahale's autograph, Sav turns on the charm infront of the paparrazzi.

Then-
Oh my. Rendering fail!

Then she shmoozes her way to 'fame leecher', while Sahara roams freely around a park full of strangers. Pap looks angry...
(Why did I make her a celebrity? I get enough opportunity spam from Kaity and Shaena in my legacy...)

Just as we're about to head home, an... oddly dressed man enters the park. I decide we need to know this guy for later. Pap and Kai look on in awe. Savannah's moves are a force to be reckoned with.

His name is Donnie Foust, and he likes flowers as much as the bees I assume he keeps.

He leaves. Potential baby-daddy? Hm. Maybe. Definately number 5 on Sav's list, though.

"...Soon..."

Once home, they still aren't tired after an entire day at the park... So, Sahara gets a talking lesson. She doesn't look like she really wants it. Or maybe she's just confused as to why her mother would plonk her infront of the toilet for this task...

 "Say death."
"Deff."
"Good girl!"

She learns to talk pretty quick too, so daddy comes over as a treat.
"I'm so hungry for you."
Smooth, Savannah...

This kiss is the cutest still. <3 I like making them do it and just watching. Is that weird?

Anyway, Sooks soon heads to bed. Ignoring the double bed, which he could have shared with his...uh... Baby mommy, and been in the same room as his daughter, but instead chooses the single bed that I bought for when Sahara grows up. (And I had planned on CASting it and decorating the bedroom before it made it into the story...)

"I'm tired..."
Uhm... What are you doing?

It's spooky day!
Everyone looks appropiately sombre in the car ride over. Suzuki? Eyes on the road, please.

Savannah enters an apple bobbing contest. Suzuki was invited too, but he prefers to watch like a bore. Sahara has once again been left to roam free on a cold day without outerwear.

She wins, and tries to look modest.

Next is the haunted house. She scoffs at the small crowd of townies mourning the decorative graves.

She rushes out the other side so fast I don't get to get an exit pic, but she immediatly does this... Is this because she got scared in there, or has Suzuki struck again? Guess we have to wait and see.

Eventually, Sahara gets some attention in the form of her favourite green formula.

Mummy then heads off to refill her newly emptied stomach in a pie eating contest.
That guy is huge, Sav. You don't stand a chance.

I was wrong. She finished over a sim-hour before him, I mean, look, it got dark while we waited for him!
"YEAH! I'm the queen of halloween!"
Spooky day, Sav, spooky day.

I decide that's quite enough fun for one day, and Savannah rounds up Sahara.
"Ew, she smells."
Yes, you both need a wash... Uhm, Sav? You got a... little... something... Nevermind, you'll get it.

  1. Looks like Sahara needs to drink some juice! lol Poor baby! Puuuuushing so hard. ;)

I'm all jealous you've got Savannah to roll wishes for all that toddler training. I have no idea how Lottie.... yeah. I probably ought to post that? huh? Maybe tomorrow.

Lol on your rendering fail! I hate when I see that. It always makes me want to go and drool over a new graphics card. *mmmmm graphic yumminess!

Also, wow. You.Are.Brave. A celebrity in a wishacy? I bet you are going to be busy with that!

And Sahara was cute to begin with! What do you mean you think she was ugly before? Such a cruel Sim Goddess. ;)

Ha! Savannah trying to be modest. That's just not her style is it? lol And damn the pie face! lol, Hopefully she'll obligingly bathe for you soon!

    1. Hahahaaaaa :p

She has the nurturing trait, so that's probably kicking in now. Plus, she's off work for the next ages because of how the holidays fell andher days off and maternity leave.
      Yes tomorrow! Uh, today...

I get it everytime I switch lots. That one was just when I panned the camera round, though :| I laugh and think of sims 1, but I would like a new gra- no, I'd like a new system.

Why did I do that to myself? On the plus side, this is barely a wishacy, so I can just ignore what she wants anyway :p

Nah, I thought she was ugly last time I was in game. I looked at her properly now, and realised her nose is cute, not just weird. But, yeah, I'm cruel. Always so critical of my sims.

Nah, she's a very... Loud I guess is the word, going by her clothes and personality, sim. Modestly makes her look cute, but doesn't suit.
Haha, I love that pie face. Makes me laugh so much :p If not, I'll make her bathe. No biggy!
Although, I did quite well with wishes this time, almost all these were wishes!

  2. Ha. I've not noticed that potty training animation. Push indeed! Darn thieving potty! Oh my gosh, I get those rendering fails sometimes too. It's so creepy, isn't it? How strange to see a sim randomly walking around in a bee-keeper's hat. Nice take on the hunger bubble, there, haha. Do they really get stuff on their face like that from the eating contests? I've yet to have any of my sims do one! Maybe a little wishacy play is in order for today.

    1. Haha, I hadn't seen that one until I was zoomed right in like that. I just think the looking around and swinging their legs is cute.
I get rendering fails all the time. But your system is a lot better than mine ;)
I know!! Why would EA allow things like that for random?!
Yes, they do. Hahaa! Looks like they just ate a person, doesn't it? Would look great on a vamp/were in a horror story. They stay clean in the hot dog one, though.
      You posted! I saw :)
