Chapter 2: Destined Never To Sleep
Ok, so you may remember last time I mentioned I had glitchy bed syndrome, but knew how to fix it? Well, I tried the proven fix, and it didn't work, so I just moved her via edit town. She arrives at her new house around midnight, and heads straight to bed.
Around 2am, some lovely lady (whos surname is Goth, in an odd turn of events. I guess the Goths over here aren't as well off) comes to welcome Savannah to the neighbourhood.
Savannah dreams that someone needs arresting, before waking up and calling the police. This one is destined never to sleep a full night.
Ms. Goth steals the shower, and cackles loudly.
No, really. I rarely play with the sound on, and I actually feared for my life when she cackled :|
Savannah finishes her call to the police, and exits the room to do the 'Burglar!' interaction. The burglar has the hearing of a bat, and escapes before the cops can get her.
PC Rashay finally makes it onto the scene (yes, it's a full moon, hence the fierce glow from the lights), and after a pathetic apology where he mentions he'll catch the burglar next time (I mean, really. How reassuring. You expect me to get robbed again? I should have stayed in my old house with the glitchy bed.), he then tells Savannah that he doesn't care what anybody else thinks, and she's attractive.
Savannah already has a huge ego, so this really wasn't neccersary...
The next morning, after yet another night of broken sleep, Savannah wakes with the hope of a shower. She breaks down crying when she realises she's been robbed.
Instead, she heads to the TV, as that seems to be her favourite pastime. (Damn, forgot to get traits. She's got Rebellious, Flirty and Great Kisser. I think Loves The Outdoors too, and so I have no idea why she loves the TV as that conflicts with that last trait...)
Anyway, so she breaks it by turning it on, stands up, and checks it out. She give a nod of the head and that 'you're hot' pouty-face and everything... Odd girl.
Her lifes ambition is to woohoo with 5 different sims in 5 different places...
Anyway, she attempted to go to work, but for whatever reason the taxi drivers of Sunlit Tides united. They kept driving her literally 4-sim-feet before kicking her out. So I did a quick reset town, and that seemed to fix the problem.
She turned up an hour and a half late for work, which was annoying as she really needed a new shower, but to my surprise she got a promotion, depite being late and having no skills and and average mood. So, shower crisis averted!
She then wishes to both learn the handiness skill, and to read a handiness book, so we go to the library. Nobody of interest is there, and it takes me ages to find the bookcase with skill books in.
I also finally get the little joke for the in-game book 'Game of Thorns', and chuckle to myself for a while about how it took me so long to get there. (Game of Thrones, for anyone as stupid as me)
With those two wishes complete, she rolls a wish to pillowfight with Suzuki Hinata (Mystery Man, told you it was an odd name. He looks nowhere near Japanese!), so we invite him over.
For whatever reason, the pillow-fight interaction keeps cancelling out, but they autonomously flirt instead, and we find out that they share the flirty trait. Then Savannah goes to bed. It's about 3am by now and she's not slept properly since she appeared on this island as a full-grown adult with no memories or relatives.
I'm pleasantly surprised when Savannah finally wakes up mid-morning (on her day off) and cleans the house. What a good sim.
She rolls a wish to play dominoes with someone. I have no idea where to find a dominoes table in this town, but she lives next door to a place called 'The Hot Spot', so I head there to have a look. I then do a double take as I try to work out where I've seen this place before...
(For those who don't know)
She then, predictivly, goes and watches the TV, before I decide to look for dominoes elsewhere.
We head to Vargs Tavern. No dominoes here, but she does meet a friendly mirror.
And a friendly fairy... (Griffin Alto, incase he comes up again)
She and Griffin head out to the llama transporter. If you've not done that yourself yet, it's pretty cool!
(LTW: 1/5)
The next morning, Suzuki comes over. Savannah still has that pillowfighting wish to fulfill. The interaction keeps cancelling, so we try something else instead...
Unfortunately, that keeps cancelling too, so we head out, assuming that there are just routing issues in this tiny house.
Suzuki has his own car. Only a Sloppy Jalopy, but better than Savannah (who has a locked wish for a motorbike). He drives up a mountain, but stops halfways up.
He then beats Savannah to the top, poor girl isn't used to running, even if she is in the army.
Once up there, I remember you can't pillowfight on a community lot (DUH!), so we do something else that involves pillows instead. I think it counts.
(LTW: 2/5)
Savannah then takes some time to herself in a relaxing mud bath. Hopefully she'll sleep tonight, she's planning an early night as she has work in the morning and hasn't slept more than 5 hours a night for a week...
I have risky set to replace woohoo. I've not had any vomiting, but I thought it'd make her LTW more interesting. Also, I've made my own rules for the wishacy, where I do her wishes as well as mine. When I have more sims I'll probably be good though.

Oh, if only life let us do our own wishes all the time...LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be having lot of routing issues.
Also, I laugh at how the military career in Sims doesn't care how crazy your Sim's hair is or anything...
Oh, I know, right?
DeleteI know! I blame ST! Need to get a routing fix!
LOL it's under a hat ;)
Oof! Routing issues abound huh? Is there not even a large enough spot on the lot to pillow fight outside? Yikes! And I need Savannah's earrings. Need them! Me and my sims. lol
ReplyDeleteWow! Savannah is making good progress toward her LTW! Now you just need an heir from her. ;)
Why didn't I reply? I'm sooo rooood!
DeleteNah, she had literally no space in that house. Not even outside.
I told you the earrings were from lorandia, didn't I? I think I did.
Uh, yeah, no point replying to that last bit now :p
Eep! They cackle? I don't play with sound on often either, I didn't know that. Didn't know there was a Game of Thorns book either, lol.
ReplyDeleteShe's a man magnet, isn't she! The police officer was pretty funny. And Mystery Man. And Griffin!
Apparently so! *shudders* I usually have it off these days because generally I'm posing. I can't stand the silence broken up with buy mode music, so I have the radio/CD/TV on.
DeleteGame of Thorns book came with basegame, I think (do thay add books in? :|) Took me 4 years to get that joke. Hahaaa!
She is, but, look at her! She's gorgeous! Can you blame the men for falling to her feet and kissing the ground she walks on? :p
